I dont have a photobucket account so I am attempting to simply upload images from my laptop direct to this site
Howver, having read the very imformative (and IT dinosaur proof) "how to upload images to the site" guide, I am hitting a brick wall as I keep being advised the images I am trying to upload here are too large. How do I reduce the size of the images to enable them to be posted?
Hi there. My names Tim from Leicestershire (the shire) I stumbled across this place while researching something on another forum im a member of to do with Wethersfield in Essex and i've ended up loosing 2 hours nosing around the threads about places local to me. I didnt realise how much history is still preserved in the undergrowth. Bit of background, I grew up around 3 miles from Bruntingthorpe and 4 miles from Husbands Bosworth. I used to work up at Bosworth, those of you who know the area will have ssen my old workshop going to the cafe at the glider club. And a good number of people i know work/have worked on various parts of the whole Bruntingthorpe estate (including 1 of the security guards ) Anyway, enough from me. I'm off to discover more about the area i call my own.

Don't forget other airfields near to you such as Bitteswell as Desford & coming the otherway there is Market Harborough.
There is a lot to look at in Liecestershire & Northamptonshire.

Ive just left a reply to you in regards to Desborough. I used to be in Mowsley and crossed over Gartree on my way to school in Harborough. Now im over in Hallaton and Desbogs only 8 miles from there
