Hi Sue, I was born and raised in Grimoldby, but I've not heard of Wilsons lane. Nevertheless, I have asked around family & friends and awaiting a response. As for aircraft at Manby, this site may be of interest. www.bcar.org.uk/manby-history . As it happens, my Grandfather worked in the Sgts Mess in 1941.
Hope of some help, and if I track down Wilsons Lane, I'll be sure to let you know.
