I took these today out-side the main entrance to Guys Hospital. The second photograph of a plaque is actually at the start of the Tower bridge, South-side. Took this one through my open window. Passengers side.

I took these last month in Chesham, Bucks. Sadly very weathered, but you can still see the WW1 Bi-Plane and Field Gun outlines.

I took these Sunday 23-06-2019. Aldbury village is a very small, but nice place to visit. As we discovered due to the many tourists milling around the Pond and Stocks etc. Tring, in Hertfordshire is a couple of miles away.

Part of "the dirty dozen" was filmed here, as you say a very nice village.

Castle Donnington ; The High Street near to it's junction with Delven Lane and Park Lane , the village war memorial caught in the fading evening sunlight .
Easily found and just down the hill from the East Midlands Airport Aeropark which is well worth a visit itself .

Dartford, Kent

As the roads always seem to be jammed with traffic we normally walk into Dartford to mourn the lack of decent shops and the number of beauty parlours. The route takes us through the park and past the war memorial so I thought it was about time I photographed it. In the background of one you can see the Len Goodman Dance Studios and apparently he has appeared on TV a few times. The area in front of it is being rebuilt into a piazza, not sure what flavour though. They are also building a few hundred apartments facing the piazza but with limited parking available! Planners are morons as the site was one of the towns larger car parks, most of which have now gone.

I took these in Sevenoaks, Kent. Friday 13-09-2019. The staff at the café loaned me the book shown. I returned this with thanks after my tour around.
