This modern memorial is in the Staffordshire village of Anslow and has a bench for weary travelers like me to rest a while and contemplate.

Close to Edgehill in Warwickshire Ratley is where some of the dead from the Battle of Edgehill were laid to rest .The church yard has many gravestones for members of the England Family who seem to have borne a large burden in the Great war. It also has a medieval cross.
