The Warwickshire village of Clifford Chambers has this memorial and this one is in the nearby village of Preston on Stour

This memorial is in the Oxfordshire village of Bladon and the plaque is by Oxford Bus Depot.

I took these today at the Durrington commonwealth war graves cemetery, Wilts. The first five are WW1.

I took these today at Larkhill, Wilts. Victims of war with South Africa and Afghanistan from 130 years ago ! No real change.
And look at the style of weapons used, must have been horrific !!

Interestingly, the Canadian High Commissioner, Paul Martin (senior) had a son Paul Martin who became Premier 2003 to 2006
