This memorial is between St Marys church and a victorian Catholic church close by Swynnerton Hall in Swynnerton Staffordshire obviously modelled on a medieval cross it shows the owner of the big house The Fitzherberts sensibilitys for landscape patriotism and religion

This is in the Thimblemill Recreation Centre over the road from the Uplands Cemetery and is the Works memorial for Guest Keen and Nettlefolds who are currently in the news.

This is Smethwicks main War memorial next to its council house in the Victoria park i am at a loss to explain why there is a plaque to the unknown soldier.

Priest field may be a district of Wolverhampton or it may have a separate identity however this is close to the tram stop at Priestfield Close to Wolverhampton City Centre. the building in the background bears the legend "Memorial Hall"

These are in the Northamptonshire village of Overthorpe .The plaque seems intended to inform future generations ignorant of history and it is pleasing to see the then living commemorated as well as the deceased.

The Oxfordshire Village of Cropredy is famous for the Civil war battle of june 1644 and some of the dead are supposed to be buried in the churchyard of St Marys which bears this memorial to a later field of conflict.
