Welcome to the forum. I drive through your neck of the woods to avoid the queues on the Kings Lynn - Hunstanton road. My parents live in Hunstanton. Sadly Mrs PNK doesn't share my enthusiasm for airfields so stopping is not an option! My parents will agree with the windy bit
No Amount Of Evidence Will Ever Persuade An Idiot (probably not Mark Twain)
I have lurked here on occasions but I have now joined the ranks as it was suggested to me that you may like to see some of the photos I took today whilst on a guided walk around Middle Wallop Airfield.
Would anyone be interested in photos of an in-situe Picket-Hamilton fort and two Quetta huts?
I have an interest in old airfields if only because my Air Cadet flying career has taken me to some old and now defunct ones, whilst my current flying takes me over a number of disused airfields both obvious and not so obvious and its always nice to be able to point these out to the cadets.
Many thanks for the welcome - Mrs Jes isn't keen either ! The arrival of grandchildren has made life busy, luckily one daughter lives near West Raynham ...................the other near Finningley................Thanks again.
