Welcome to the forum. I drive through your neck of the woods to avoid the queues on the Kings Lynn - Hunstanton road. My parents live in Hunstanton. Sadly Mrs PNK doesn't share my enthusiasm for airfields so stopping is not an option! My parents will agree with the windy bit :)

I have lurked here on occasions but I have now joined the ranks as it was suggested to me that you may like to see some of the photos I took today whilst on a guided walk around Middle Wallop Airfield.
Would anyone be interested in photos of an in-situe Picket-Hamilton fort and two Quetta huts?

I have an interest in old airfields if only because my Air Cadet flying career has taken me to some old and now defunct ones, whilst my current flying takes me over a number of disused airfields both obvious and not so obvious and its always nice to be able to point these out to the cadets.

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Ah yes thanks, the reason I said that, is because its an unofficial name. I wondered if he got it from my book and I forgot about REFs thread.
