welcome to the gang, i take it Stokeheath was the MU site next to Tern Hill, part off which is the young offenders prison now, Cosford is just 8 mile away from me, but what i am most interested in is Llanbedr which is just 300 yrds from my caravan (rwy 36 end) if you have any stories or images whilst you were there i would love to see them

I am new to the forum. I am curently writing a history of Airwork who were at many airports/airfields through the years, so will be digging around a bit. If I can help anyone in anyway regarding Airwork please let me know. Turnhouse is my other main area of interest along with Glasgow aviation.

My main interest is in Avro Lancasters, but also anything to do with what was RAF Faldingworth, as I lived there as a small boy

Welcome David A G, Faldingworth was one of my places to call on from the mid 90s til 2006, a very nice village !! During the 80s while working at the old Haddenham airfield one of the Office chaps there was a very friendly happy Polish man. He was a Navigator based at Faldingworth. Have you seen the memorial on part of the old runway there? also the plaque in the local church. I have a video tape somewhere that I bought from the local vicar about the reunion there 1999 I think it was??
