Hi everyone. My name is Laurie. I was a member of the RAF for some 24 years and, after leaving the service, joined BAe in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where I worked for another 11 years. I retired in 1999 and now live on the island of Penang, just off the NW coast of Malaysia.
My interests are aviation, mostly historic, and photography.

Hi indeed, Penang ah, spent a nearly a week there two years ago - loved it! Friendly people, great food, architecture, shopping and excellent culture. Malaysia is great, shame about KL though!
