Welcome to the forum. I have more than a passing interest in Bombing & Gunnery Ranges of which there were a few in your neck of the woods :)

Where abouts it the decoy at Wormegay?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Richard, I'll copy across to the relevant part of this forum a report on the Wormegay decoy site that I posted on a certain UrbEx site. It will need updating though as I've turned up a bit more information since then (i.e. I've got hold of a copy of Fields of Deception.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Left that neck of the woods a little while ago myself. The history around Norfolk is fantastic, enjoy.

Hi

My name is John Grech I am a member of ARG and I have a general interest in Aerodromes and defensive fortifications like pill boxes etc. I am also member of Cross and Cockade International, The League of WW1 Aero Historians and The Australian Society of WW1 Aero Historians. Over the years I have been a member of many spotter groups, but alas they seem to have reduced in numbers over the years.

My main interest is 66 Squadron RFC/RAF in WW1. For those interested I have a web page at www.66squadron.co.uk .

I look forwards to contributing when I can.

Cheers

john-g

Hello John, and welcome. I seem to be getting more interested in WW1 especially the RFC/RAF and look forward to your posts on here. Meantime I'll look at your website. I recently posted-up a church memorial name-board for those lost during WW1, this list includes one RAF chap.

The Dead got memorials, The living got time.
