I've been there once or twice yes Ha Ha :p.
I Did think about making the tower my 'holiday villa in Northamptonshire' at one point. Bit to drafty and damp though!:lol:

Your sleeping accomodation in the tower didn't look too healthy either that mattress was nasty.
I think another visit is called for though.

I wonder if visiting the glenn Miller memorial would be easier via the public footpath from the Apethorpe side.

Me and Wiganmick walked that footpath years ago, before the memorial was there. Defitnetly quicker (but a hell of a lot less interesting) than following the old peri track.
