Hello Chris, welcome to AIX
:)

Unfortunately we have had some issues in the past with people joining in order to just publicise their blogs, sites and increasingly Facebook pages. This is one of the reasons that the links have been removed by our Admin.

Yes, I'm back(ish).

Welcome to the forum JP233. Given that you're in Bedfordshire and your 'name', did you used to work on said project at Huntings? Or am I adding 2+2=5?

Hello there,

I am the founding member of my band Powderedcows who are signed to a label in Bournemouth.

I am looking to record the vocals in a big huge echoey old WW2 building so that I can acheive natural reverb and echo.

Have you any suggestions of any such buildings in Dorset, Hampshire, or Wiltshire? I could travel further but I would like to try and stay fairly local if possible!

So far, the helpful guys on facebook in the 'world war military buildings' group (who told me of this forum) have suggested Hillsea Fort in Portsmouth. I quite like this suggestion. I just wondered if any of you have anymore suggestions?

Thanks very much for your help!

Martin from PowderedCows

(Incidently, the cover of our last E.P entitled 'Z K Radars' is a photo of an aerial that was at the army camp that used to be at Hengistbury Head in Southbourne, Dorset)
