I wear many hats - dad, owner of HMVF, Pathfinder Distribution and pathfinderonline but more importantly I was just doing some research on the 745th tank battalion based here in Dorset prior to D-Day. The reason for my research is because I am holding an event Armour and Embarkation again here in Dorset armourandembarkation this year we have over 20 WWII tanks attending.
Sometime back I had a map of all the marshalling camps in Dorset but since my move I just can't find it
Best wishes,
Jack.
Welcome to AIX Jack, an interesting line of research that you have and I look forward to your contributions; AiX should have a thread to cover it!

Welcome to AiX! Enjoy the forum and post away, i am sure your input will be of interest to the membership on here.
good to hear you are joining ARG and subscribing to the magazine later in the month, as a newbie to ARG myself I am really impressed with the quarterly magazine its a brilliant organisation.
I have just joined as well. My reason for joining is that I am (starting to)? get to an age where some of the events of my service career are beginnig to get a bit foggy, and I wondered if this was a good site to chat, and see if others remember things. But one step at a time.
My other interest is books, so do you sell your own copies of this interesting sounding book, and do you do signed editions?
