Hi and thanks to those who welcomed me.

Hadn't logged in to the site for a while and was aware that I had not replied to a couple of questions.

The Rebel Air Museum did fold unfortunately after both Stan and Dave Brett passed away, I'm sure there were other reasons of which I am unaware.

It was a great shame as there were a lot of donated items that were specific to the 322nd BG.

I was told that many of the museum exhibits passed to a private museum somewhere on the Earls Colne site, I don't know any more than that I'm afraid.

Had some good times with the RAM at the village hall meetings and getting involved with the reunions (even my border collie was named Rebel)!

Had my Stallion 51 Mustang flight in Florida and it was "awesome"!!

If you have not been able to date of identify the function of a structure our members should be able to do so.

live in Sutton Coldfield spent 10 years in the armed forces and spent alot that time on RAF airfields around the UK although I wasnt in the RAF
interested in WW2 airfields after discovering my grandfather flew planes out of the factory at Castle Bromwich

ps will be joining up at the end of the month on payday

Hello Peter,

I have just joined as well. My reason for joining is that I am (starting to)? get to an age where some of the events of my service career are beginnig to get a bit foggy, and I wondered if this was a good site to chat, and see if others remember things. But one step at a time.

My other interest is books, so do you sell your own copies of this interesting sounding book, and do you do signed editions?

My own interests and my parents second world war experiences, are some of the reasons I have joined here to discuss.

ARG sounds interesting, can you obtain back issues, how much, and is it an e-magazine or hard copy?
