The Bomb Stores were located in and adjacent to what the RAF plan names as 'Gullet Plantation' at NT947343, about half a kilometre due north of Redscar Bridge.

Hello Skip, Good to know that you've found us, welcome to the forum. I too think that is a unique way to get a name. As for Bury St Edmunds, I think it's a lovely place [Been there literally hundreds of times] especially the Abbey Gardens with the 94th BG memorial. The control tower museum is excellent !! I'm sure if you get the chance to visit you'll enjoy what surviving wartime buildings still remain, also the Flying Fortress Pub.

There is a few bits to look at around Bury St Edmunds if you know where to look, its an interesting airfield and I drive past it regularly.
