Hi All
Stumbled across this fab site by accident, my interest started as a spacey back in the days of the cold war, we got to go to lots of different airfields and visit parts of them that the general public didnt get to see , think its fantastic you guys do all this research. keep it up
look forward to shooting the breeze with you all

Hi everyone,
Just stumbled on this fascinating site, my interest is gloucestershire and wiltshire airfields. My father ran a small site for Sperry Gyroscopesat Aston Down in the late 60s/early 70s, I have some photos of the airfeld from this period when it was used as by the Gnats and JPs fromthe CFS at Little Rissington.The site was close to the old Bristol Siddeley test site in the S/W corner,I think I have some photos of this as well. I'll try to scan them and post them up if it would be of interest.
