Hi all, thought youd seen the last of me did you? Well have I got news for you!

I didnt go far, well I went to Ottawa and saw the RCMP musical ride. But apart from that the boring news is my PC went us on me. But now im back!!!

I must say i am pleased to have found this forum, as seeking out disused airfields in my own locality 'London Essex border' and just about anywhere else i may find myself has been an on and off interest of mine since the mid eighties. I hope the info i post will be of use to any likeminded individual, and i will look forward to hearing from you all in due course.

Ps, the area of the forum that covers Essex airfields should be listed as South East England. :-P

Ye welcome back canberra, I was worried about why you had gone AWOL on us, but glad your back, lots been going on since your walkabout, gained loads of new members and lost a couple. Your mission over the coming weeks etc is to get more posts than PNK - I am confident you will achieve this.
You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!
