Welcome John, would you give us the location of the surviving Quadrant Shelter which you mentioned as extant between Port Quin and Port Isaac? I thought I had plotted the QS on this coast.

It's supposed to be on the corner of one of the older buildings near a hangar from memory. Of course it's probably been demolished since I last saw it...

The Baliol had some fierce airbrakes which erected from the trailing edge of the wing. As an ATC cadet I saw a wing 'sitter' violently ejected onto the ground during an engine ground run when the cockpit man operated the ABs. Well, I thought it was funny even if he didn't.:-D

Dave Robinson... I was there from 86 - 93 - but bailed out before it morphed into DUO.

I did a spell at Community Express as well when they opened up their base at EMA.

Maybe you remember Andy Little? - we were in the same Halton Brat entry.

Cheers
Dave

Hello Dave !

I did '87 until '98 and bailed just before it went to Duo.
Andy Little went to Canada to work on Biz jets and is still there I believe.

I went to Air 2000/First Choice for 9 and a bit years, currently at Thomas Cook Airlines at BHX , still work with Paul Brooks who you may remember?

You're so right, and say hello to Paul (doubt he'll remember me though!)

I'm out of the game altogether now and the closest I get to aircraft nowadays is on my PC.. but I do have a lovely picture of a Birmingham European Super Shed on my wall!

Is Jeep Holmes still about?

Cheers
Dave

Hi Paul,
Nice to see you and your Nubian appearing on another forum! Of course the restoration work you've done is very worthy of appearing on as many related websites / forums as possible ;)
