I've been looking at the forum for a while and been thinking I should post something about Otherton airfield (Once an RLG known as RAF Pillaton),
so I've taken the first step.Arrived at the site as a result of a search on dear old Pendeford (stops typing for brief nostalgia attack).Interests are pretty much anything aviation related.

Yes,I did.When I was very young father and grandfather worked at BP building Balliols.We lived close to Pendeford airfield which was linked to the BP factory by a long taxiway. I often saw them taking of for test or delivery flights to the RAF at Cosford.I was of an impressionable age and they made a big impression.
