Hi, Nobby Clarke - I'm new here but was on Station Flight at Wittering 1960 to 1962 then in the Electronics Centre until I went to Laarbruch in the snowy January 1963. My recollection is a bit rusty now. It is 40 odd years ago but I do remember it was pretty cushy number on Stn Flt.

Welcome Drakie, I had a Chevvy VEGA for a while, the coupe; half a Vee 8 driving through a 3 speed Saginaw box, stick shift. It taught me how to troubleshoot and maintain Holley and Rochester carbs. But, I digress.....

Welcome to our airfield site
