So it says introduce myself....
Just an old shepherd living in the SW Desert of the US.
Im an ex-pat living in Nevada that is.
My main reason for being here is it seems an excellent reference site
for recreating long vanished airfields for MS Flight sim.

I used to be DKH51250, but the system will not let me sign in with that user name. Consequently I have had to generate a new email address and user name. Passed a few minutes of anotherwise boring Saturday though:-))

for those who are interested - at present the gents at "The Pond" are working on Stretton, with Bourtonwood, Moreton Valence and GAC on the
lists as well as others for both FS9 and FSX.
Personally Im collecting data for a long neglected pet project of mine
Eniskillen and Castle Archdale.

Thought it was about time I introduced myself here.
Ex RAF ATC, based at Binbrook, period 1986 to 1988. Enjoyed my time at Binbrook for many reasons.
One of the only bases where I served, that everybody actually talked to other people. Don't know what it was about the place, probably the air.
Not quite the end of the world, but you can see it!

i,m from Corby ,Northamptonshire.
Had a recce of the site first before introducing myself.
Always been interested in aviation history,especially disused airfields.
