Happy memories of Squires Gate, had my first ever flight from there in the late 1940s in a Dakota.

Welcome johntels , Squires Gate has a long history (opened 1909) so please first photograph anything old before it's demolished.
It's rare to have someone who actually works on site and has access so I for one would like to see what's there.

Thanks Robin, have you any old photos of squires gate?
PETERTHEEATER, I have some photos already, I take it I have to upload them to a 'photo site' first, if so which is the preferred?
As far as what is left I will post on the Squires Gate sub-forum
Ps Also started mapping out Squires in 1945 on googles sketch up, hence would love any pics from the past.
Sincerely
John

Hi John.
Sorry, this was in the 1940s, I was 9 or 10 years old, don't think we had a camera then.

That's sad. Even PNK had a box Brownie then.
