Welcome to the forum. I assume this is neat to Faldingworth, if so I think we have a good thread on that airfield.

Welcome to AiX steve t,

Newtoft is on the doorstep of the former WW2 airfield RAF Faldingworth, here:

wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm?lat=5...5493&gz=14&oz=7>=1

If you type 'Faldingworth' into the Search box it should bring up the thread.

Comms? AiX has various threads relating to military comms, radio and radars of WW2.

Lincolnshire is 'Bomber County' and is rich in WW2 airfields and related militaria so use the Search function. Sometimes it's not to good so please ask if you are interested in a particular subject.

Sorry Harald, I did try the Ginger Lacey association in searching but kept coming back to just Bridlington and a nearby airstrip but couldn't find anything 'near' but lots 'afar'!

Welcome to AiX John, I hope that you find something of interest in our threads. Do you have any images of NZ airports to share and any stories?
