Hello Ianbache, Just finding my way around this site. Wondring if you know anything about Thomas Desmond CARTER, (Nick). he was my cousin and I'm led to believe at one time he was Manager of Llanbedr Airfield. Born in 1923 and died in 1967. He lived in house called Ardudwy. If you knew him, please could you let mr know and I can ask a few questions, if that's ok.
Cheers Christine

Hi Christine,
I am sure i can recall that surname in conjunction with the airfield, it may of been in one of Wendy Mills books off the airfield, i am going to see Wendy on Saturday, she worked on the site for many years and is a ex Jindi pilot, she may off known Mr Carter if she was there at the same time. I will ask her if she is at our pool, and will get back to you if that is ok. Wendy has wrote 2 books on the Airfield, "Target Rolling Llanbedr Airfield 1941-2004" and "History of Llanbedr Airfield 1941-2012" very good reading
Regards Ian
