Dear Members,

I have had a request to join this exciting online forum. My name is Peregrine Bush and in 2007 I launched my website which features some of my photography. Over time the photography bank has increased, they are of varying quality but like all photographers it may take time until I get to full grips with my Canon equipment.

I am a professional cartographer (map maker) working for The Petroleum Economist Ltd in London. We publish large sheet maps for the energy industry. In my spare time I have been creating maps of military airfields and publishing them FREE on my website for fellow enthusiasts to download. Over the past 4 years I have created some 60 maps all culminating in me publishing my first book.

Please take a look at my site and feel free to download a few maps and give me feedback. I have attached a sample map, Mildenhall as a teaser.

all the best

Hi Peregrine

Welcome to AiX, great to see you on here and I Hope you enjoy it. I am often found refering to your maps whenever I go out to the end of a runway somewhere!

For those who haven't seen any of Peregrines mas, have a look at his homepage (click on user his username above, then click visit homepage) as they are excellent.

Look forward to seeing your posts on the forum.

Cheers

You can tell a builder from an archaeologist by the size of his trowel. Mine is a small one!

Hi Gavin, great to see another local on the forum, I am also a member of the 100th but I don't have the time to volunteer there - Carol and Ron know me well though, and I may well have chatted to you before up at the museum. If you ever fancy a day out locally, let me know - plenty of airfields around us as you know!!
