Depends if you know where to look to some degree. Grab yourself a map I`d say.
Plenty of Tank Traps still about. The North/South runway is now under a golf course so you need to have a good set of ears for the shouts of `FORE`and the pub/bar by the lake is a nice place to put your feet up with plenty of wartime pictures on the wall. If you ever come here, let me know and I`ll join you.
I'm an former RAF Brat so have lived on many an airfield, especially in East Anglia.

From memory I have lived at
Tuddenham (where I was Born ), Methwold, Feltwell, Mildenhall, Coltishall ,Colerne, Seletar, Upwood, Oakington, Odiham, Swanton Morley, Laarbruch, Manston, Uxbridge & Northolt and probably a few I've forgotten
I have had dealings workwise with Lyneham, Brawdy, Aberporth, Llanbedr, Hawarden, Mona, Valley Haverfordwest & Cardiff
With the ATC - St Athen & Cranwell
Locally I have Pembroke Dock (Not an airfield but has a long wet runway), Carew, Templeton, Angle, Dale, Talbenny, Haverfordwest (again) & St Davids
