Hi everyone, I have a passion for airfields most especially abandoned ones but please don`t ask my why cos I don`t know I was 20 years in the aircraft industry where I also had the chance to make some interesting items for Hawker Hurricane projects ( these are my favourite aircraft by the way) including a complete engine cradle for a Hurri being restored at Blackbushe airport as was. I would love to get into the archeological side of out hobby too as the videos on youtube are inspiring me in that direction. Anyway, that`s enough of my waffle, I want to plough in now and have a good read. Best wishes to you all, Hurricane-Hazel.
The 18th is a no go for me but I have requested the 11th December off work. If we plan for that day and I'll confirm my attendance later this week with a bit of luck.
Hi to all who are ' up for it ' . As REF has asked for the 11th. December to be considered, I think it reasonable to go for that day. North Creake seems a good place to begin, especially as the RSP isn't reliable. I'll get hold of the Watch Office owner to see if he would like to meet up with us. So what start time then - ?
08.00h / 09.00h. - ? The earlier the start, the more light we'll have.
Simon.
