Any idea what happened to the plaque that was within?? This can be seen under the Memorial section, Cambridgeshire.Hi, Looking for any information on US involvement in the Huntingdon & Diddington area. Just a note to say that the Brampton Grange (1st Air Div HQ) is now being turned into flats. The so called developers are demolishing a wing of the building!

Interesting point. It was home to No.13 EFTS from 1935 to 1941, but this doesn't make it a military airfield and hence it does not appear in AIR10 4038/9.White Waltham was not (as far as I know) a military airfield during WW2 despite association with the Air Transport Auxiliary. Not my line but I hope that our knowledgeable members can give you some leads.
