Hi Arm Waver, we've spoken before.....yeeeeears ago, on the 'Flypast' (Key-Publishing) forums & in particular when I was asking for some help in regards to my Grandfather's 'service' time on the railway (L.N.E.R, thence B.R.).

That was on the General Discussion forum IIRC ? (circa 2006 ?)

Hi to all you forumites

My interests are mainly WW1 & 1920's-30's aircraft, & surviving WW1 airfields/buildings.

I am currently building a full sized repro Sopwith Snipe "& will be amazed if it ever gets to be more than a few boxes of bits stored under my bed ".

I am also interested in rumours of aircraft, aeroengines & aircraft parts "any era" that are supposedly buried on or near to airfields etc, in the UK or abroad .
