left hand one is the common 3kg, but whats the one on the right?
i have the actual empty cylinder somewhere for a better pic, just cant put my hands on it.. :-/


Maybe a 4 lb practice bomb. They were a little different, but not much .

They look slightly different but there still classed as 3kg S/F .

That picture of a 3kg is missing the nose & nose cone . The cone was made of plastic and almost all the time broke off on impact !!

Yeah we never did find any with nose cones on. Gathered they were made I plastic too.

We also found a good few 2" mortar tails. And I remember finding some nice bits of fools gold ;)

I wonder if the little parking area is still there at the end of the little lane where the red flag was at the north corner????

Hmm. I doubt it hey. Down by that farm/bungalow.

Well what u got then? All ive got is that s/f in me garden some 20mm & 30mm rounds & cases!:sad:
