You'd buy one, I'd buy one, a few others would, and six months down the line they'd be remaindered at £4.99 a copy. Regrettable but that's life.

Have to admit though, that 20 years later they would fetch a fortune on Ebay.

KLM using Manston to fly to the Continent is excellent news.....now if they'd just start flights from Newcastle to Manston and back ( I have to run right down the country periodically - Mother still lives near Deal)

I don't see the point. What we are preparing is a PHOTOBOOK also for people interested in photography. These people exist. I reckon that most of you did not shoot the same quality of photos. Or am I wrong? In an earlier mail I mentioned the towers in the book so far...

I like photobooks, as do a lot of people. I don't think we need to debate who takes the best photos though!! There are some great photos on this forum and i know that the Airfield Reseach Group has hundreds of control tower photos that are ready to publish too.

the comment earlier is very valid regarding price, the majority of books reduce in value and price within weeks of being published so the content, quality, finish and price needs to be spot on to start with, otherwise it will struggle to sell regardless of how good the book is.

i am a fan of these coffee table style photo books and i wish the project luck.
