Welcome to AiX captainm

When you say 'Great Malvern' do you mean Defford airfield or the town itself? Pershore was still on the list as a V-Bomber diversion in early to mid-60's

Welcome to AiX. I worked(for Bricks and Works) at the other place , SRDE (Christchurch) from 1965-74 . When the place was closed all the MoD personel & work moved to Malvern.

Hi,
I'm a new member.
I know this is the wrong site to post this request but I decided to register and try all the same, as I'm sure there are many here that probably have some knowledge of the information I'm seeking.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any other members who might have any info about German prisoner of war camps around the Bridport area in Dorset and where they might have been located.
Any details would be welcome.
Thanks.

Anything of use on this link :
/community/forumdisplay.php?108-POW-Camps

The After The Battle magazine , No 76 in 1992 , published a list of UK POW Camps as at 20 February 1947 and the only Dorset camps I can see are Cattistock Camp near Dorchester , Park Camp near Lulworth Cove , Merley Park Camp near Wimborne Minster and Montcombe Park Camp near Shaftesbury .

Hi.
I'm a newbie...from Oztralia..but lived in England for over 20 wonderful and happy years....beautiful country. And while I was growing up there became interested in wartime airfields...a close family relative flew lancasters from a bomber base in Lincolnshire and was lost over Holland....have been to his airfield twice....these places are amazing...and sad....

cheers,
Mac.
