Hi PNK, I dont mind really if it helps get a feel of the place if its more specific about jim all the better or why they persisted with the hudson, tried to contact that new world uni who had a local history project about "hudson bay" with supposedly good info on lost hudsons but cant seem to get areply from them. have quite a broad interest really just short of spare time to do much about it,some of my fathers pals from as far back as the boy scouts all served in ww11 quite a lot in the raf from spitfire pilots to rear
Good evening guys first time I have come on this forum though I have heard of you through Richard Drew so I thought time to have a look. My usual forte is hunting out pillboxes and following the stoplines though I have made a few diversions to a couple of airfields. What puzzles me is why is there not South East Area for Oxfordshire and Berkshire or don't they count. I work on the old RAF Harwell site and have been poking around the place where there are a few things still to see. I'll poke around more of the site now.
