Hi Paul and welcome. I blame Airfix as well and look where it's landed us (no pun intended!)

Hi. I would like to introduce myself. My name is Steve and I very interested in WWII Airfield Engineers for very specific reasons.

My Uncle Jack Saretsky who is 92 years old, was a Sergeant in the 833rd Engineer Aviation Battalion during WWII and he was in the invasion of Normandy.

I am here to find out as much information about this unit for my personal knowledge and to bring back some memories for my Uncle Jack.

Uncle Jack is a part of the VFW in St. Petersburg Florida and his mind is as sharp as a tack!

I want to find one of his unit patches, logos, books, or anything related to the Aviation Engineers of WWII. He also worked on the Nike Program.

I also currently donate my time to assist soldiers who come back from war with thier brain injuries and PTSD issues. '

Thank you for your time and thank all of you for your military service!

Respectfully Submitted,

Steve
