Airshows 1980's / 1990's

Now that's whatya call a proper display list. I'm sure we went to that one?

Happy happy days - sigh !

It was an awesome finale on Sunday with Concorde followed by the SR.71. Mildenhall has to be the most missed of all the now defunct airshows in the UK.

Well when it comes back in the future mate - I will meet you there for a burger and a Bud - here's hoping !

My fave display team of all time!! The Canadian Air Force Starfighters team made some very impressive and noisy displays in the late 70's & early 80's at Leicester. Seen here at the 1982 show -

Junkers Ju-52. Couldn't make it's UK airshow debut sadly after suffering an engine fire when she arrived on the previous day1983 -
