Just a few from me......St Mawgan of course.....
1985 I think for the blimp...
1984 for this C5 on Arrivals day....
Concorde again but can't for the life of me rembember the year !! .....
C5 1990.....
Catalina on late evening of ArrivalDay.......year ?? sorry....
....and finally an old favourite.....

Lovely photos from St Mawgan, I was at all of them. Concorde was 1987.

.... three more from 80's EGDG ....
RP-3A of VXN 8 (Artic Fox) not strictly part of the airshow in 85 (?) but present on the airfield....
...two pairs of F104's, German nearest the camera with the Italians taking off behind.....1984 I think...
..and finally me with a certain "Spitfireman" (armed with Hasselblad) alongside a Norgie Seaking.... (edit ...and a Belgian F16 rolling out:-D)

Lovely evocative shots Chris, I used to love the arrivals day evenings, they always seemed to be calm and sunny with no access restrictions to the aircraft.
The German Starfighters look more missile like than normal without the wing tip tanks, they must have been almost fuel priority on arrival!

Great to see such terrific memories; I went to my first UK airshow around the time these were taken. The ones of the Bf 109G were taken some time in the early - mid 90s at Duxford, since Black 6 first flew after restoration in 1991. NIce also to see RNZAF P-3 Orion NZ4203 in its grey/white scheme - I worked on this aircraft during my engineering apprenticeship.

Lovely photos! The German F-104 pair; 26+61 and 26+74 (The Vikings) were at St Mawgan for IAD 1985.

The Vikings are one of the best display teams i've ever seen. A pure display of speed, noise and power. I saw them several times at Mildenhall and they were regulars at the Leicester Airshow as well.
