And just for a bit of nostalgia (Scanned 35mm pics) from various Great Warbirds featuring some of the scenery and some aircraft no longer with us, some having sadly killed their crews, and some in early schemes.
Just been doing a bit of scanning. These were taken at a Fighter Meet in the early eighties (1984?). The tray was labelled Mildenhall June 1984 and I think the other label fell off when we moved in 1987. This shows the hangar quite well although it was not the main focus of attenttion. You could walk around the site and I did get up quite close to the hangars.

While attending the Biggin Hill airshow in 1993 Richard Branson suddenly spoke over the PA system. A platform had been set-up which along with a few others Mr Branson were on. I'm just re-directing one of my aircraft to give us a low down fly past,[twice] he said. Though you can't actually see him he is stood infront of the chap with the pink shirt, arm in the air.
