Silly idea, but could they be mounts for machine guns? IE two prongs in to ground and gun on the single mount?

Yes canberra, not silly; they could be but then they could be many other things so positively ID ing them will be difficult unless someone has seen them before in use.

I wonder if theres a stores ref on them????

We wont find any stamps or marks on these, they are heavily rusted.

You never know with some careful scraping you might find some numbers, if these items are military.

Nope, most of it was just bent bits of small wreckage from a crash. I know one local who has boxes of surface scrap from the crash site and I passed his details onto The Stirling Project.
