The 'Introduce yourself' Thread

Hi all my wife and i have been photographing old air fields for about 3 years now living in Lincolnshire we get the chance to see lots of bomber bases . We have a week in Yorkshire planed soon to visit some more sites so im looking forward to posting some pictures soon

Hi, I live near former RAF Wratting Common and have created a website dedicated to its history:

It has a large number of photos, site plans and history. Also included is a luftwaffe reconnaissance photo from April 1944 showing entire airfield and all the dispersed sites. Including planes in dispersal and one on the runway.

If anyone has anything that is not on the site, and ought to be, please message me or contact me through the website. Would like a photo of the control tower if anyone knows of one.
