Hello:
This is my first post. I am travelling to Stormy in early May 2011 to walk the grounds that my uncle walked. Frank was a gunner and went on to 1654 HCU , and 9, 57 and 617 Squadrons. Sadly he was killed in Bill Astell's AJ-B on the Dambusters Raid. I have done 20 years of research and will soon be publishing a book called 'Promise for a Dambuster'. You can read a story on Frank by googling "Paul Morley The Promise".

Thanks for keeping the memory of our fallen alive.

This is just to introduce myself. I am an aviation enthusiast and Secretary to the worldwide RAF 100 Group Association and Editor of our Association magazine 'Confound & Destroy'. I am also author of 7 published books, including 'Nina & Vic: A World War II Love Story'. It is my mother's story, which traces the final fateful journey of her wartime fiance Vic Vinnell and friend and Canadian pilot Jack Fisher both of 192 Squadron, 100 Group, Bomber Command, who went out in their Mosquito DK292 on 26/27 November 1944 and never returned. Now I am proud to call their friends my friends, as we meet together for our annual Reunion in May in Norfolk, UK.

I hope I will make many new friends here.
