Hi T-21
Ah yes, Greg has spoken of your father. I think Greg noted that your fathers log books noted XS186 by it's tail code, a was often the case in that era, No10 ?

Hello everyone, I'm Black Shuck from Norfolk. I'm very interested in East Anglian Airfileds whether RAF or United States, plenty of which we have in Norfolk in abundance. I have visited West Raynham, Upwood, Swannington, Langar, and still have quite a few on the list. Also a very healthy interest in Control Towers, Technical Sites, and Hangars. Mainly T type over here and C Type. Anyway, hi for now, look foward to speaking to some of you very soon. Greetings, Black Shuck.:-D

Hi Black Shuck from another East Anglian (well imported one anyway!) - I am near Diss! I assume you meant Langham? Some great airfields to look at in our neck of the woods, I spend a fair bit of time walking around them!!

Welcome to the forum and I'll look forward to seeing your posts

Thanks for the Pembrey stories T-21.

A good friend of mine (now deceased) was an 'erk' at Pembrey in the late '50s and used to tell me the story of a Tempest (?) which crashed into a timber hut, the big prop demolishing one end and killing a sleeping airman.

Loads Fellas, thanks for the great welcome. Athough one of my main interests is Old Airfields. Yes I did mean Langham, but am also in the process of trying to find an Airfield near Bluestone.
