First message as new member - hi, all. As usual, great day in the Neuk of Fife - weather held out beautifully so all aircraft seen at their best. Top spots went to 4 x Hunters (shades of the Blue Diamonds!) chucking themselves all over the sky at max con rich, 558 doing touch 'n' go twice and then landing for o/n stay, the Dutch F16 doing things it didn't oughta and that cheeky lot, the Blades, copy-catting the Pink Sparrers! It was an odd feeling not seeing the Q sheds at the end of 27 - part of my life they were. I'll have to make a trip to Bruntingthorpe to see them doing what they do best. Although, I must admit they were most welcome shelters on air show days over the past few years. Talk some more later - smells are wafting through from the kitchen. Time for action!
Hi there Al, You're in the right place for your interest, I have the same interest but with the addition of the USAAF airfields of East Anglia, it's all good stuff !!!
