Airshows 2016

Nice photos Paul. It was great to have a noisy jet hovering in front of an airshow crowd again. The RAF example displayed on Sunday. Have you got any shots of some the other aircraft displaying? Be great to see them.

I thought t was an outstanding RIAT this year. It's been quite a few years since we've seen quite so many fast jets & afterburner action at one show.

Didn't realise you were going Steve. Shame as it would have been good to catch up. Wasn't it a fantastic show. The 22 and 35 was just jaw dropping.
The F35 was so rock solid in the hover. I miss the Harrier,.... but the F35 looks to be the new generation of jump jet.

I totally agree mate, a real classic this year, was even better when the sun came out and we got some full high routines.

Grey clouds but I still managed to look like a beetroot by Sunday evening.

Yep I got sun burnt as well mate...I always do, even when it peed it down for most of the day at Cosford a few weeks back.

The sound of the F22 and F35 was incredible.
Those poor suckers who live near RAF Marham don't' know what's coming.

I know exactly what you mean Peter. I used to ( & still do) get the mickey took out of me something terrible whilst suffering from 'red flying display face' after an airshow visit. Usually made worse from wearing sunglasses all day so I always sported the panda look with a bright red face but perfectly white around the eyes. Mildenhall Air Fete was the worst for it with the display line facing into the sun all day. Always used to feel like a human radiator after visiting the Hall
