One of the range quadrant buildings might be on the plan if it goes far enough west.

I have found out that 200 yard MTRs were covered in Airfield Review in 1991. The relevant issues were :-
Volume 11 No 3 - issue 55 (or might be the previous one)
Volume 11 No 4 - issue 56
Anyone know if all the ranges were listed and what the articles covered?

Be interesting to know what information the forum has added since the article was first written.
Also poses a problem for those of us that don't know what's been published before in AR as we could repaeat old ground.

The forum participation has added a lot as I am sure Carnaby will agree.
What's more, there are other MTRs out there just waiting to be found and surprise us.
When I remember, I like to look back through my old Airfield Reviews whenever a topic is raised to see if someone has covered it before. Often there is good information which can lead to a fuller picture.
I have an old AR Index which helps, confusing as it is!
Incidentally, having recently been through my AR collection I have found several duplicates which, when I get around to it, I will offer up on here in the ARG thread.

I have just had photographic proof of the location of the West Freugh MTR. It is exactly where we agreed it was. Unfortunately I am forbidden to post a picture but I am planning to add it to a sketch of West Freugh and will post as and when completed.

Yes, Snettisham has a lot to answer for. I spent a whole afternoon wandering up and down the coast near Kilkeel, virtually you understand.
Couldn't find anything obvious but then again Greencastle was effectively removed so any MTR could also have been similarly erased.
It would be good to know if there were any more, even if we don't know where they were!
