Some I took of her arriving at Coningsby yesterday...

These must be among the very best photos of the event, better than most of the press shots!

you could have put your copyright notice in a better place Rich.

I though it was nice & discreet to be honest Chris. Certainly doesn't distract from the image. Especially compared to a lot of other photographers copyright notices out there on the net.

Superb photographs Richard, I've got a couple of days off work next week so hope to get some good photos myself. Just hope the weather stays fine.... Got a B+B booked so haven't got a lot of choice now.

The Dead got memorials, The living got time.

Hi Peter

I cant see any legible lettering on the rod end, the smaller end that holds the spring looks to have a 7 stamped into it but that is all I can see

the rod is part of the gearchange linkage from a Citroen or Peugeot car from 1992- ish, at end of the rod are normally ball sockets which are of plastic and missing from your rod

I don't think anyone is going to get better pics than Rich.
Thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour this afternoon I'll sort my photosw later.
While waiting for the BBMF Lanc to return the ground crew where fixing an engine problem on the Dakota, what a lovely noise when the Lanc returned I had the Dakota ground running full throttle on my left & the Lanc arriving on the right.

The Canadian Lanc is currently in the hangar with the engines recieving some tlc after the long flight, the Canadian guide said it's centre section is from another aircraft.

I never new the BBMF Lanc has a Lincoln Tail.
