Definitely got a tear in the eye looking at this.

Plan A is always more effective when the problem you are working on understands that Plan B will involve the use of dynamite

Yesterday was a totally unforgettable day.

The Lancs arrive at a packed Waddington (as where many of the surrounding lanes & fields) -

2 other 'sisters' on the same airbase at the same time as '558 arrived the day before -

Trying to get a decent pic of all three Avro's together was virtually impossible. It was just too crowded -

..& why do the Police always turn up when you least don't want them to!!-

& then it was off to Metheringham (which was also packed with cars & people all along the Peri tracks) to get the best view of this amazing once in a lifetime flypast -

It really was one of the greatest sights in aviation I've ever seen (& heard). Truly amazing. Thank's to Bomber for the company.

& here's some great footage courtesy of Planes TV taken at Waddington, Canwick Hill & at the top of the Cathedral. Very emotive as the bells chimed as the formation passed overhead. -

Thanks for posting the video link. Brings a lump to your throat, especially the distant drone.

That was just amazing! I am still insanely jealous steve! That must have been one of those experiences that in years to come you can say "I was there".

Please, please oh God of everything that is great and good let the weather be fine over Gransden tomorrow.

Airfields Man - at least you have seen them fly together, something I will never see sadly.

I doubt they will fly it now, they make too much money from the taxi runs
