Last photograph above is that of his Wife. Though this VCs grave is not too bad it took a while to find it among this over-grown yard, I tripped over many of the large square type graves with the low surrond's.

On the subject of overgrown graveyards, this is part of the World War One plot in Falmouth Cemetery. It contains the graves of our allies or those of non-British nationality who died fighting for/with Britain. Most of them are sailors (Falmouth being a port). For example the third shot, which shows the steepness of the slope, is a line of French sailors. The CWGC plot is immaculate as they send in people to tend it, but this section has obviously been forgotten by Falmouth Council over many years. I have left a message on the Council website.

Just to say I have had a positive response via email from the Sexton at Falmouth Cemetery to say he is on to the issue and hopes to have it all cleared by the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of WW1. Limited manpower, nesting season, have meant that he has not been able to do as much as he would like. However, he is ex-forces and is determined to see the site returned to its proper state. I wish him well.
