I went to the Lowestoft Air Festival yesterday, to say it was packed was unfair to the sardine left out of the tin! :-D Earlier in the week grotty weather had been forecast, on the day the skies broke nicely for all participants on what is becoming one of the UKs most popular Air Shows.

Within 10 minutes of leaving the carpark the heavens opened and water was gushing down the roads like there was no tomorrow! To me the highlight of the show was the RNAF F16, I thought that was a superb display.

All the other participants gave a superb performance and it was also nice to see [for me] a Venom in the air for the first time since RAF Seletar Open Day 51 years ago

Glad I did Lowestoft yesterday with the 558 being there, the Star of the Show was This F16 of The Royal Netherlands Air Force at Lowestoft, a brilliant performance

BTW does anyone know why the BBMF has a different call sign on the port fuselage to that of the starboard?
