Thanks Peter that is the one, found in the valley bottom east of the markers shelter. Now for the RP fuse?

The two brass components may be part of a fuze assembly. The RH component appears to fit into the bore of the stepped brass component? RAF and RN used either 25 pound solid shot head or 60 pound SAP Head with rear internal fuzing. Those components imply a direct acting nose fuze typically used on ground to air (anti-aircraft) rockets such as Z Batteries.

Treligga finds. Oerlikon 20mm case on the left compared to a Hispano version on the right. RP head? The brass fuse? would fit exactly into the RP head.

I found this whilst wandering around a bomb dump a while ago.
It measures 3" across and is threaded on the back.
I think it's some some of blanking plate ?

Yes, it's a blanking plug for a bomb fuze/pistol pocket.

That is the top of a small ammo can that could be attached to the side of a 50 caliber gun. Cool find!

Here is mine:

Whilst at North Creake airfield today I found this.
It is made of brass and is about 4" long and has N28 MK111 S M P 1/41 written on it.
Over to you guys.

RAF No.28 bomb tail pistol.
The smaller knurled end should unscrew to reveal the firing pin and it's retaining spring.
