What are these triangles for?

Maybe this will help & I should have mentioned it: they're on huts called Mob Huts.....timber hutting & WW2. My surfing has uncovered the fact that Jurby has one & it's called a "Mobilisation Store" in Graham Buchan Innes Vol.2 with 748/39. This is the only mention I've seen & Yes, it does have those yellow triangles. Looking though a magnifying glass I detect a black electrical zigzag on it with a black legend underneath.....

Did signs like this exist in WW2?

When I joined up in 78 signs saying use crawling boards were rife on buildings that had either asbestos roofs or corrugated roofs.

No date...but I thought the appellation 'Mobility Store' might help...the yellow triangles saying Yer tiz.....

Identical triangles are visible on a number of buildings at Jurby, not just timber ones.
They do now look more like the old non-pictogram Fragile Roof notices.

Very odd then that the only scenery objects (timber huts) I have with these triangles are called Mob Stores. I'd have thought all timer huts would have had them....? Jurby is a very interesting place!

It's quite possible that whoever built the objects was using real-life examples from a small number of locations for the faces, as Timber Hutting in good condition is becoming relatively scarce in the UK in the last few years. As these buildings have a "modular structure", I'd guess the models have been built up in a similar manner.

I've not really seen examples of these notices in period photos, they may well be post-WWII additions.
