Theres an interesting article in the latest Flypast by an ex RAF engineer who served with BAC in Saudi in the late sixties. It includes the Lightnings seeing action.

This one is part of a collection of over 70 odd aircraft at Savigny-lès-Beaune.

According to wiki its XM178 Lightning F.1A at Savigny-les-Beaune.
If I've remembered it correctly there was an similar style of jet to the EEL that had been displayed at Farnborough during the 1950's where they installed a rocket motor in place of one jet engine that ended up in the RPE Westcott museum in the 1960's.
